London International Club would like to
invite you to the British Spearfishing Association Competition
at Portland Bill - 23rd June /2002 TIME:10am - 4pm. Back-up
date 27th July.
To be held on the western (right) side of Portland Bill shown
in the arial photo below. Portland Bill is 3 hours from central
London by Car. The competition will take place the whole right
hand side length of Portland Bill. The competition will be
shore entry. Entrance fee £8.

| The species are Pollock
, Sea Bass, Cod, Mullet, Conger and Flat fish |

Guns are 60cm to 105cm. 5mm Wetsuit is fine.
Water during that time should be about 16 or 17 degrees Celsius.
Bottom is sometimes just rocks and sometimes sand with big round
rocks with a lot of kelp. Depth is 2 - 15m with some strong
tides on the far point. Safety boats will patrol the area.
